With over 20 years experience in operations, warehousing, logistics, quality assurance, cold chain management & production I understand the complexity in logistical planning, product distribution across the supply chain and the execution needed to get product from the field to your fork all while adhering to the highest level of quality standards.Highly experienced in managing fresh produce and perishable logistical operations including handling reefer containers, truck dispatch, warehousing operations, inventory management, customer service, contract negotiations, production and labor relations. Have delivered bottom line results in dynamic work environments which have contributed to growth and on going success. Established relationships and negotiated service contracts with major ocean carriers including but not limited to MAERSK, MSC, CMA-CGM & COSCO. Have worked in unison with various shippers throughout the USWC and managed the logistical process for the exportation of fresh produce and other refrigerated/frozen cargo. Acted as a liaison between the exporters, stevedores, and shipping lines to ensure that logistical processes and deadlines were being met and executed.Also have had the good fortune of obtaining a very good understanding of the Avocado global supply chain from differing harvesting/field practices, pack house layouts/operations, cold chain management/shelf life technologies and logistical/distribution networks to go along with an understanding of the economic, social and governmental complexities involved in having operations spanning across multiple continents. Have always created rapport quickly and have maintained positive business relationships with clients, staff and vendors, demonstrating dedication to a high standard of customer service.
