WORK HISTORY
Senior Project Controller @Pattern Energy
Calgary, AB, CA
I serve as the project controls lead for assigned scopes on the $11B+ SunZia Transmission program, supporting budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and executive reporting for one of the largest renewable transmission projects in the U.S. In this role, I act as a strategic partner to project leadership while operating as a senior individual contributor, providing financial visibility and risk insight to support program-level decision-making.My work focuses on strengthening the foundations behind the numbers. I design and enhance project-specific trackers and dashboards, reconcile legacy cost data, and support the transition to updated budget structures aligned with current commitments and scope. I also partner with finance, procurement, and accounts payable to identify and implement process improvements that reduce cycle times and improve data quality.Additionally, I develop tools to streamline data integration between Oracle, Power BI, InEight and Excel, improving reporting speed, accuracy, and usability for both project teams and leadership. Through these efforts, I help ensure cost information is reliable, transparent, and actionable throughout the project lifecycle.
