ABOUT FRANCO TALLERO
Franco Tallero has been working in the field of information technology for 30 years. In 1996 he took the degree in Computer Science at the University of Genova with a dissertation on Process Standardization for SME in IT context. With a master in “Small Business Enterprise Creation and Administration” (co-financed by EU and the Union of the Italian Chambers of Commerce),in 1997, he co-founded the GeCo Business Consulting, a SME devoted to IT solutions and became the Commercial Director. In 2004 he took his second degree in Informatics at the University of Genova and successively the qualification as Engineer through the National state exams.He is an expert in systems and e-business applications, software engineering and agile methodologies, business technical optimization, development of mission critical applications and knowledge-based systems design and implementation.In his working experience, he has held various technical and managerial leadership roles in different business contexts (H3G, TXT e-solutions, San Paolo Bank, Agusta Westland, Amplifon, BravoBuild, VTE/PSA. Siemens, SQS Group).He has been professor for the course of Team Work Management within the Faculty of Computer Science - Free University of Bolzano/Bozen (20••••13).He knows and works with the most common application servers (e.g. Tomcat, Bea, Websphere, ZendPlatform), database management systems (e.g. Sql server, Oracle, Mysql, MongoDB), content management systems (e.g. Drupal, Joomla, Alfresco, DotnetNuke, Sharepoint) and languages as C, C++,C#,VB.NET, Java, Php, Python, Jsp, XML and its derivatives. He has good knowledge of cloud computing for both DevOps and Systems automation.His experiences are also related to Microservices, Artificial Intelligence, Semantic Web, Distributed Systems and Geometric Modeling, having collaborated to various national and international research projects in these fields.Specialties: Project management, Software Engineering, Quality Assurance, Business Process development, Continuous Integration/Delivery.
