ABOUT FRANCO PEREZ

As Team Leader Controlling BI at Theo Förch, a leading supplier of workshop, assembly and fastening products, I use my skills and experience using IBM Cognos Analytics, financial controlling and database management to deliver data-driven insights and solutions for the company\'s strategic and operational decisions. I have over three years of experience in BI, working with various tools and platforms to create high-quality dashboards, reports and analytics for internal and external stakeholders.Before joining Theo Förch, I was a BI consultant at M2 Data, where I consulted and developed BI solutions for various clients. I used SQL, Alteryx, Power Query and Tableau Prep to query, connect and model data sources, and Tableau and Power BI to create and maintain interactive dashboards. I also have a technical background, having worked as a project engineer for a hydroponic farm in the Atacama Desert, where I designed, programmed and deployed sensors and actuators for the IoT network and developed and maintained a MariaDB database. I have a Master\'s degree in Energy Engineering from the University of Stuttgart and a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tarapacá, with an exchange year at OTH Regensburg.My goal is to use data and technology to solve complex problems, optimize processes and increase productivity. I love learning new skills, exploring new areas and collaborating with diverse teams. I am fluent in German, English and Spanish and have received several awards and certifications for my academic and professional achievements. I believe that with the right attitude, the right tools and the right vision, anything is possible.
