I conducted monthly performance reviews with VPs and the CFO, meticulously evaluating performance against forecasts and plans, while identifying opportunities and risks. To streamline financial processes, I managed the automation of monthly Budget versus Actuals (BvAs) reporting through dashboards. This initiative significantly reduced the time required for reporting, allowing for more meaningful discussions with business partners on strategic initiatives and their financial impacts. I worked diligently to enhance stakeholder accountability, striving to achieve ±2% accuracy on forecasts intra-quarter. This involved developing a top-down statistical model, accessible just one day after the hard close, which served to scrutinize bottoms-up forecasts from partners, enhancing financial due diligence and accuracy. Furthermore, I assisted in implementing Adaptive Insights (ERP), enabling flexible reporting and modelling capabilities for our Finance Partners. As a champion for continuous improvement, I advocated for and facilitated monthly enhancements to our ERP, collaborating closely with the System Engineer on complex systems integrations that required SQL debugging. This proactive approach ensured our financial systems were always up-to-date and optimized.
