I lead Test Engineering for the Americas region at Murex, focusing on test automation, CI/CD, and continuous testing for financial institutions.Over the past four years, I grew the Americas Test Engineering team from 5 to 30+ professionals across offices in the US, Canada, Mexico, and Chile, serving clients throughout the Americas region including top banks and financial institutions. As Murex shifted toward managed service offerings—SaaS, CI Managed Services, and Upgrade as a Service—the need for automated testing and continuous integration became critical. My team scaled to meet this demand, focusing on automation and continuous testing with CI/CD pipelines.What I Do:As Head of Test Engineering for the Americas, I\'m responsible for Murex Test Engineering services and client success across the region. I also serve as Test Factory Manager, leading our continuous testing operations that support our SaaS and managed services delivery model.My role sits at the intersection of technical delivery, team leadership, and client partnership. I work with senior client stakeholders to help shape their testing strategies, represent Americas client needs to our global product team, and ensure my team delivers excellent results through modern automation and DevOps testing practices.How I Got Here:I started as a Test Engineer in 2016, learning the Murex platform inside and out. I moved into leading projects and teams, then took on the challenge of building out our Americas presence. Each role taught me something different—from technical depth to project management to what it takes to build and motivate a distributed team.What I Focus On- Leading test automation and continuous testing initiatives across the region- Implementing CI/CD and DevOps testing practices for SaaS and managed services- Growing and developing people—several team members have moved into leadership roles- Understanding what clients need and ensuring we deliver through modern automation- Scaling capabilities to support new managed service offerings- Building a team culture where people do their best workTechnical Background:I have 10+ years of hands-on Murex MX.3 experience and strong knowledge of modern CI/CD ecosystems and DevOps testing practices. I understand the full software development lifecycle, continuous testing methodologies, and how quality engineering integrates with managed services delivery.
