ABOUT FRANÇOIS STARING
I\'m an experienced researcher and project manager with in-depth thematic expertise on higher education policy. In my current projects, I focus on advising country reforms in the areas of higher education quality assurance, digitalisation and climate change education, as well as how to strengthen higher education-school partnerships. What I love most about my job is learning about and comparing the strengths of different (higher) education systems, and using that knowledge to bring education policy makers, practitioners and academic experts at national and international levels closer together to exchange, design and develop evidence-based, high-quality, efficient and inclusive policies to support better student outcomes. Throughout my career, I have also developed expertise on a range of other topics, including: language education, citizenship and inclusive education, employment, social affairs and skills, or achieving gender equality in and through education. In my spare time, you will most probably find me in the dojo, training karate, playing the piano, reading or travelling the world with friends.
