About Franco Pastor

I am a senior at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, majoring in Computer and Information Science with a minor in Business, and I am the Founder of Lyntra, Inc. I have hands-on experience in product and business development: writing project proposals and case studies to align teams with new workflows, setting measurable goals, defining scope and acceptance criteria, running market and competitive analysis, conducting user research, and developing business financial projections. I run customer interviews and analyze customer behavior, turning pain points into actionable insights and concrete product specifications that improve usability and increase adoption. I identify customer needs, build partnerships with stakeholders, secure sponsorships, pitch products to decision-makers, and participate in startup accelerator programs to validate strategy and refine the product, while keeping teams motivated through focused feedback sessions. At Lyntra, I lead both product management and project delivery, taking AI products from discovery to MVP with Lean experimentation and Agile execution. I turn customer interviews into testable value propositions and detailed product specifications, own the feature roadmap, and set measurable goals for each feature and release. I keep the product backlog prioritized and run two-week sprints with goal-oriented deliverables and regular check-ins to track progress and remove blockers. I plan and track timelines and budgets against milestones and sprint goals, surfacing risks and dependencies early so the team can adjust scope and priorities and keep releases on schedule. I evaluate and allocate our budget across marketing, sales, and human capital, balancing product development with go to market needs. I use product analytics, user feedback, and QA findings to guide feature decisions that increase adoption and retention. I create end-to-end user journey maps and UX flowcharts and use them in working sessions with UX, frontend, and backend teams to align on requirements, refine designs, and provide structured feedback, helping ensure features are delivered on time and at high quality. I lead the go to market strategy and work with key stakeholders to pilot, integrate, and deploy. I secured sponsorships from Microsoft and Google that provide cloud credits, enterprise tools, and technical support, accelerating product development and market expansion.

I drive strategy, product, and delivery for Lyntra’s adaptive task management app. Following Lean Startup principles, I have run 80+ discovery interviews and a beta with 50+ students, then translated findings into personas, system flowcharts, and high-level feature specifications documented in Azure DevOps Wiki. I design surveys and in-person usability sessions, synthesize feedback into insights, and lead feature iterations to improve adoption and product–market fit.I define scope and acceptance criteria, maintain the roadmap and backlog in Azure Boards, and run two-week sprints with goal-oriented deliverables and regular check-ins to track progress and remove blockers. I lead focused feedback and working sessions to align UX, frontend, backend, and ML contributors around measurable sprint goals and keep the team unblocked and motivated.I also serve as hands-on QA: I create test plans in Azure Test Plans, execute test cases, log and prioritize issues in Boards, and document repro steps, fixes, and release notes, validating improvements before each release. Releases ship through Azure Pipelines to Azure App Service. I use product analytics and user feedback to guide roadmap and feature decisions and improve retention.I track timelines and budgets against milestones and sprint plans and work with campus stakeholders on pilots, integrations, and the go-to-market plan. I secure sponsorships from Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, and the NSF, which provide cloud credits, enterprise tools, and research funding that help accelerate product development and market expansion.
