Post-Doctoral training at the Joslin Diabetes Center and Harvard Medical School in Boston. Expert in estrogens and testosterone therapy in aging men and women’s metabolic health and the principles of sex-based precision medicine. Director of well-funded research laboratories at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, and currently Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. Principal investigator of research grants from the National Institutes of Health, Veterans Affair Administration, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association, March of Dimes Foundation, French Diabetes Association, Pfizer, and Boehringer-Ingelhein Pharmaceuticals for a total cost of $25 millions. Author of over 200 publications. Invited speaker to over 160 national and international lectures. Practicing endocrinologist specializing in precision hormone therapy in men and women. Elected to the American Society for Clinical Investigation and the Association of American Physicians.
