I am an IT project manager with 20 years’ work experience, focused on infrastructure development. I have operated mainly as a contractor. I consider my key strength to be as a strategic thinker who aligns IT services with the needs of the business.I have managed enterprise-wide, multi-location projects involving large teams. My peers recognise me to be a focused professional with a close attention to detail, delivering specific client requirements on-time and on-budget. My most recent project has been a £1 million cloud migration that delivers annual ongoing benefits valued at £1 million. Prior to that I completed a £2.5 million office relocation that delivered benefits totalling £10 million over five years. Other projects include datacentre migrations, application migrations, WAN upgrades, Win10 & Office 365 rollouts, videoconferencing installs, firewall upgrades, and Wi-Fi deployments.My IT skills include Agile (Practitioner), Prince 2 (Practitioner), MSP (Practitioner), ITIL (Foundations), Jira, Confluence, and Slack Planning. Managerial skills include securing sufficient resourcing for a project, managing stakeholder expectations, working to budget, deploying resources efficiently, managing vendors, and hedging risks.Being determined and proactive, I aim to achieve the best outcome in every task I pursue.
