ABOUT FRANCISNA F.
I’ve spent my career working on development and climate issues that impact people and systems around the world, with a particular focus on the agriculture sector and on food security challenges. Along the way, I’ve had the chance to work across Africa, Asia, and the Americas with community groups, companies, governments, and international partners to try and turn good evidence and ideas into real difference on the ground.A lot of my work has focused on helping vulnerable regions, especially those dependent on agriculture, build resilience, while figuring out climate finance approaches that actually work for both public and private stakeholders. I’ve also spent time partnering with businesses across agri-food and other sectors to craft strategies that make climate risk and sustainability management not just possible, but practical—helping organizations see the value in forward‑thinking approaches. I’ve picked up experience in multilateral development institutions, program design, consulting, and monitoring & evaluation, and I draw on all of that when I’m helping teams sort through complex problems or move an initiative forward. At the end of the day, I’m someone who loves learning, collaborating, and rolling up my sleeves to help create meaningful, practical change.
