Responsibilities include:• Manage the claims relationship between a diverse range of global and national clients and insurers, to facilitate claims solutions to meet client needs and ensure cost effective delivery. • To assist Client Managers and Directors to identify opportunities to improve clients claims experience through the claims proposition for new and existing clients. • Act as referral point for problematic, technical claims, large losses or where there are indemnity issues.• To be the focal point for nominated clients, their Insurers and within Aon for any claims related matters. • Facilitate client claims review meetings as agreed.• Assist in new business proposals and presentations and renewal exercises where claims input is required.• Develop claims procedure guides to clients to cover all classes of claims in line with agreed local procedures. • Inform Client Manager/Director of all unresolved reserving issues- arrange reserve reviews with insurers where necessary. • Agree and develop claims reporting and handling procedures with client, insurer and business claims centres, Where appropriate agree nomination of loss adjusters/solicitors.• Conduct claim review audits of insurer claims files. • Support broking team to understand the makeup of a client claims experience to understand the picture behind the numbers so any risk can be presented in its most accurate light.
