Civil engineer with Master\'s Degree (MSc) in Civil Engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico (Lisbon, Portugal), major specialisation in the Geotechnical area.Chartered Engineer in the UK ( CEng MICE ), Portugal ( Engenheiro Senior - Ordem dos Engenheiros) and Brazil (CREA-RJ).Native Portuguese speaker, fluent in English and with basic knowledge of Spanish.Strong knowledge and expertise working with numerical geotechnical modelling using Finite Element Methods (FEM), such as Plaxis 2D and 3D. Experienced in site investigations and geotechnical monitorization. Enthusiastic and passionate about data analysis & post-processing, using advanced Python scripts I also hold an A2 CofC ( A2 Certificate of Competency). This allows me to legally fly drones up to 4 kg in more demanding locations ( such as build-up areas like the City of London) and to fly close to uninvolved people. All this can be done legally no matter if it is for recreational or commercial reasons.
