I am a seasoned engineering and data leader with a strong foundation in FinTech, analytics, data systems architecture, AI and business operations. Currently, I lead the Engineering and Data teams at Felix, helping craft an exceptional remittance experience for Latinos in the U.S. My focus is on building robust technical foundations, fostering a culture of rigorous thinking, and implementing scalable processes to guide Felix’s evolution from a thriving startup to a prominent FinTech company.Prior to Felix, I held diverse roles spanning data engineering, data science, finance, and software development. I have designed and architected complex data systems to capture and optimize business operations, provided analytics leadership as a trusted advisor across cross-functional teams, and driven insights into IT operations, finance, and marketing through data science and engineering.My experience also includes finance business partnering for global ad sales, developing value-at-risk models for currency portfolios, managing SEM and ad operations, and building risk models for supply chain optimization. Early in my career, I contributed to communications and DSP groups by building FPGA and Matlab simulation libraries, automating software workflows, and supporting patent applications with technical expertise.Throughout my career, I have consistently bridged engineering, analytics, and business strategy to create high-impact solutions that drive growth, improve operational efficiency, and enable smarter decision-making.
