To plan and provide engineering control and supervise production resources and supply chain, ensuring compliance with the EKFB and HS2 policies and procedures together with the approved design specifications and drawings. Assisting with temporary works design schemes and ensure compliance during implementation. Liaise with Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant and materials to carry out works activities to the required standards, programme and budget. Managing the site setting-out team and being responsible for the performance and development of the Site Engineers and for identifying and resolving technical problems on-site. Monitoring and coordinating subcontractors in the performance of their works, ensuring they are completed to the contractual requirements. Produce risk assessments and method statements / WPP’s for the safe execution of the works. Assisting with the production of programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans and contributing to financial forecasting. Complete records of quality audit in accordance with agreed procedures and timescales, ensuring compliance with the assurance process and gathering relevant evidence.
