I am a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and experienced Internal Auditor with over 15 years of progressive experience in internal audit, SOX compliance, risk assessment, and regulatory controls across the energy, manufacturing, and public accounting sectors.Currently at NRG Energy, I lead key initiatives across SOX, FTC, and operational audits, supporting cross-functional teams and external auditors to ensure compliance and optimize internal control frameworks. My recent work includes FTC compliance testing, integration of SOX controls post-acquisition (Vivint and Direct Energy), and automation of audit tasks through Robotic Process Automation (RPA).I bring a strong foundation in US GAAP, FTC compliance, SAP systems, and audit lifecycle management—combined with a sharp eye for identifying process inefficiencies and fraud risks.
