Using MEWS, Exact, LucaNet, Paycom, Fairmas etc to prepare Financial Statements, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statements, budget, forecast, auditing, payroll, taxes, multi-dimensional analysis of financial transactions and financial reporting. Managing property level Accounting over 70 Million dollars revenue generating business with onsite accounting team. Reporting to Area General Manager, VP Finance, Corporate Finance and ownership of the company.Key Accomplishments and Responsibilities: Lead team in daily accounting operations (Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record to Report, Vendor Management, etc.) ensuring financial information is properly captured, reconciled, and documented. Automate and streamlined monthly close process resulting in a 40% reduction in time. Implement Revenue Recognition (as per USALI 11th Edition) pronouncement to properly recognize revenue. Drive the preparation of monthly financial statements and KPIs. Facilitate the preparation of the company’s Operating Budget and Capital Budget. Serve as main point of contact for several system implementation. Implement and maintain a strong internal control environment to mitigate fraud and theft. Manage year-end audit and tax preparation, providing detailed and accurate workpapers and documentation to external accountants. Maintain banking, legal, tax and insurance relationships to corporate and the ownership.
