As a Technical Consultant at RVT, I design, optimise, and deploy temporary modular water treatment systems across industrial, construction, and municipal settings. My role combines engineering analysis with on-site advisory, from running in-house jar testing to reviewing treatment strategies and specifying systems tailored to site challenges. This work supports clients in achieving compliance with trade effluent consents and environmental discharge permits, whether tackling silt- and clay-laden flows on major infrastructure projects or enabling utilities to meet flow and quality requirements ahead of AMP8. Alongside project delivery, I oversee system performance optimisation and provide technical support for proposals and tenders.I also lead and contribute to R&D initiatives, most notably the application of natural zeolite for ammonia removal from wastewater, in line with UK trade effluent regulations. To support this, I\'ve helped establish RVT’s in-house water treatment laboratory, managing testing protocols and data analysis. Beyond research and technical delivery, I work closely with internal teams to standardise system configurations and documentation, improving efficiency and communication across projects. I also deliver training and technical briefings to clients and colleagues on the UK\'s regulatory landscape regarding water treatment/discharge, ensuring that treatment systems are implemented effectively and within full compliance.
