HR Generalist will be responsible for applying business knowledge and Human Resources expertise for Pitt County ABC. The HR Generalist will assist in providing a wide range of HR support and advice.The HR Generalist will play a key role in the success of the organization by offering guidance on recruitment, terminations, performance management, employee relations, and HR best practices while facilitating a positive relationship between personnel and senior management.Develops & interprets personnel policies and proceduresAdministers the company’s benefit plans and proceduresEnsure compliance with federal and state employment and benefits laws and regulationsCoaches managers on the company’s disciplinary and termination process; makes decisions regarding terminations or other performance-related issues.Manages and implements the company’s recruiting process, new hire orientation & onboarding programMaintains the company’s HRIS system and conducts all required reporting from the databaseManages the 90-day and annual performance review process and works closely with managers to ensure complianceRecruits for open positions to include ad placement, resume/application screening, interviewing, and managing the entireEnsures manager-level HR compliance training annually; assist with employee training as needed.Will assist with the grants program to include board recommendations regarding grant recipients.

Currently, I work as the Pitt County\'s ABC Board\'s Human Resources Generalist, improving the efficiencies of the company, managing the onboarding and recruitment process, and ensuring compliance with federal and state laws and regulations!My colleagues have described me as hard-working, resourceful, and collaborative. Looking back, the mentorship I received helped me develop and create my own opportunities, so now I pay it forward every chance I get. I enjoy volunteering at the local homeless shelter and connecting with the community via the Junior League of Greenville.
