Through my roles in external / government relations, strategic communications director, consultant, writer, and instructor, I have gained a unique combination of skills and results: Provided strategic support for the passage of multimillion-dollar bond referendums, landmark legislation, appropriations projects, and secured media exposure in top news outlets. I’ve fostered critical partnerships within an expansive network of elected officials and community leaders. Achieved critically acclaimed essay in The Wilder Heart of Florida and 30+ published works in 6 regional magazines and statewide newspapers, including, Tampa Bay Times, Orlando Weekly, Plough to Pantry Magazine, and WNC Woman Magazine. Developed my instincts to anticipate next steps in a story, project, or campaign—and when necessary—navigate and resolve unexpected problems. Taught my expertise as a storyteller and helped young writers develop their authentic voice.Based on feedback from colleagues, I’m also known to empathize with target audiences and carefully tailor content that gets them excited about the organizations I serve—which is key to building an emotionally powerful bond.When I’m not working to advance growth strategies or develop public policy agendas, you can find me involved in health and fitness activities, writing fiction, hiking a trail, walking the beach, or catching a live band.    I lead government and community relations for Tillman Fiber across Central Florida, the Space Coast and the Treasure Coast working with municipalities, counties, and economic development councils to advance broadband deployment. I build relationships with local officials and chambers, help resolve permitting and regulatory issues, and coordinate public messaging and community events to highlight network investments. My work ensures smoother right-of-way processes, strengthens community trust, and supports Tillman Fiber’s mission to expand high-speed connectivity across Florida.
