About Frances Merenda
My vision makes sustainability part of every business. A sustainable future relies on moving every sector towards innovation and inclusion. I’m interested in developing strategies to operationalize or accelerate these plans.I design and build cross-functional programs and product experiences. My decades of experience has focused on learning new businesses quickly, creating strategies and helping them grow from new to 10x. I love working with operators to create and implement new experiences for customers, and then build repeatable programs that scale. I’m most engaged when building a cross-functional team to create something new and have an innate focus on customer advocacy and innovation. I have deep expertise in program, product and project management including supply chain operations, customer experience, and executive development. My focus is creating a sustainable future, which is my personal passion. At Amazon, I led a sustainability team of research scientists and product managers who developed the carbon footprint and net-zero strategies; also Amazon’s first chemicals policy, embedding sustainability into shopping/consumption patterns, and finally, democratizing access to sustainability data (ASDI) in the cloud. Climate change is an urgent call for us to work together towards a sustainable future. I’m excited to apply my decades of experience in cross-functional strategy, implementation, leadership, and operations to create that sustainable future with others.
