Fran Lynch is the director of research and education communications for Mayo Clinic with destination sites in Minnesota, Arizona and Florida. She is the senior communications partner and adviser to executive deans, physician-scientists and administrators of Mayo Clinic Research and Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. Fran leads the fabulous Mayo Clinic Research and Education Communications team whose talented members span the U.S. Together, the Team drives Mayo Clinic’s relevant biomedical research and education communications that inform, inspire and engage consumer/patient, staff, and academic audiences worldwide. She brings end-to-end global biopharmaceutical industry expertise to her current healthcare leadership role. Fran worked in the global pharmaceuticals industry across clinical research and development, commercial, and manufacturing organizations in assignments of increasing responsibility. Her expertise includes strategic planning and advising, communication change leadership, executive coaching, and public relations management for several therapeutic areas. To better understand government influence on the provision of healthcare services, Ms. Lynch earned a master’s degree in public administration (MPA) in September 2015 from Villanova University and was elected to the Pi Alpha Alpha honor society. She also holds a master\'s degree in arts administration (MS) from Drexel University with a concentration in public relations and marketing.
