About Franceska Jones
I am a marketing scholar-practitioner and Graduate Faculty member at Cleveland State University, specializing in nonprofit and institutional advancement marketing, donor engagement, and digital relationship management.My research agenda examines how marketing and engagement strategies influence giving behavior, retention, and long-term sustainability in nonprofit and educational institutions, with particular attention to access-oriented and underrepresented communities. I am especially interested in social media-enabled relationship management (social media as CRM) and its role in donor and alumni engagement.I teach undergraduate and graduate-level marketing courses, bringing applied, practice-informed insight into the classroom while grounding instruction in theory, research, and strategic analysis. My teaching emphasizes ethical engagement, data-informed decision-making, and real-world application.In addition to my academic work, I partner selectively with mission-driven organizations on advancement strategy, major gifts, and engagement systems.
