ABOUT FRANCESCO VETICA

I currently lead Fifth Beat as Head of Design and one of the Partners since 2015. Fifth Beat is a design driven innovation company, counting so far 55 designers, were we’ve helped Luxottica, IKEA, Lavazza, Royal Caribbean (among many others) unlocking new business proposals and orchestrating their services and digital touchpoints. In my role I’m responsible to set standards of quality and processes to ensure client’s products and services are design to meet strategy and vision. Maganing and guide design teams throughout design projects helping people to enhance their career growth. Gathering clients objective and helping shape their strategy to frame the right problem to address, I follow key project milestones to ensure the right outcome is analys and measure. I’m fascinating in lecturing and I find so inspiring help students to enrich their knowledge around user experience design so while working in Fifth Beat I\'m Lecturer and Tutor Professor of UX and Interaction Design in the PSSD Master Course in Politecnico di Milano, since 2016, were I follow an international class of 90 students from all over the world. I’m also Lecturer of UI Design at Talent Garden and at IULM University. In 2020 I Co-Founded uHelp, a non profit digital service of home delivery by volunteers and local shops, to support those at home due to COVID19 pandemic. Prior to that I\'ve had the chance to spend a part of my career in London where I\'ve been fortunate to learn on the field and to collaborate with international clients like Vodafone, Sony, EE, Three, Transport for London, Network Rail, Bupa in digital transformation and user experience projects. I have a Bachelor in Industrial Design and I’ve been a professional swimmer were I develop all my constancy and my logic, were working hard is the only way to succeed, competed in the biggest events in my country until 2010 when i decide to focus more into my career.
