ABOUT FRANCESCO STROPPA

I’m 28 years old and graduated in Economics and Business Management at the University of Pavia and at the beginning of 2020 I completed a PhD in Management and development of Human Resources at the University of Bergamo. Since May 2020 I\'m HR Specialist at Supernap Italia S.p.a. In March 2020 I should have started at Hilti Italia S.p.A. as HR Compensation and Benefit Support, but because of Covid-19 the start of my new experience was temporarily postponed to June. In these months of stay at home I was giving aid in the ambulance as a volunteer at Italian Red Cross to help the people affected by SARS-CoV-2. At the end of 2019 I concluded my internship as HR Business Partner Support at Brembo S.p.A, while previously I did another internship as Finance Intern at Supernap Italia S.p.a. Both experiences were very important because they made me understand the dynamics of the world of work and acquire more skills both from a human and working point of view. My first experience in Supernap Italia was important because it made me understand what being in the world of work really meant. Despite having received a new hiring proposal, I decided to refuse and undertake, with all the necessary risks, a new path of human and professional growth in a sector initially different from mine, that of human resources. My great passion for this area prompted me at first to attend a PhD, to acquire the necessary skills, and then to get involved in the job market for HR positions. I am sure that a new experience within the human resources area will help me to develop a series of skills useful for my professional growth. I have always had a great interest in the field of human resources during my life and I sincerely hope to learn a lot and, at the same time, to test myself in the sector in which I want to grow professionally. I consider myself a sociable, dynamic and helpful person, able to work both individually and in a team, willing, determined and eager to learn.
