ABOUT FRANCESCO VETRI

While working as a Engineering Geologist, I became more and more interested in the broader issue of analysing and remediating the impact we have on our current and future environment. To that end, I have focused my education and professional experience to support the study of the environmental impact on uncontaminated substrate, as well as perform root-cause analyses and risk assessments to recommend bioremediation within polluted ecosystems I excel at Geographic Information Systems (GIS), with solid experience constructing spatial databases, spreadsheets, pivot tables and statistical reports to produce digital cartography, waste disposal schemes, and environmental management plans. I have defined containment strategies for emerging waste forms, by structural analysis, soil and rock mechanics, hydrogeology, applied geophysics and geostatistical modelling. I dependably meet target goals within strict time restraints, while ensuring regulatory compliance Further, I am an excellent communicator, providing decisive statistics, and clear technical reports. Currently, I consult with affected residents, community groups, and associations on waste management issues to define their goals and determine solutions. I also manage third-party provider contracts, and facilitate professional team interactions within a multidisciplinary project setting.
