Predictive Design, Solid State & API Engineering - Material & Analytical Sciences Department Responsible for API crystallization and drying processes development and scale-up for a variety of Development projects in order to achieve desired polymorph, powder properties, and purity in the final drug substance (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient). Also responsible for solid state characterization and understanding of \"solid form landscape\"(i.e, polymorphism, solvates/hydrates). Highly adept at both empirical lab work and modelling. Team specialist for implementation and development of engineering modelling tools (e.g, thermodynamic, kinetic, and transport modelling via DynoChem, M-Star CFD, Matlab, etc.) to facilitate better process understanding and reduce development time. Team specialist for Process Analytical Technology (PAT) implementation and chemometric model development (univariate and multivariate approaches). Team specialist for performing Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modelling. I also serve as a departmental representative on R&D Project Teams for multiple Development projects. In this role I coordinate a team of scientists with diverse areas of expertise in order to support efficient and timely delivery of key project milestones.
