ABOUT FRANCESCO PARISIO
As the Head of SAR at LiveEO, I lead a team of engineers to build innovative and scalable solutions for ground deformation monitoring and storm damage detection using Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) data and artificial intelligence (AI). I have over 10 years of experience in data science, remote sensing, AI, mechanics, and geophysics. I am passionate about applying my skills and knowledge to solve real-world problems and create value for customers and stakeholders. In my previous roles, I have successfully managed multiple international R&D projects in geothermal energy, carbon capture and storage, and nuclear waste storage, securing over 2M€ in research grants and publishing more than 25 papers in ISI scientific journals. I have also been an invited speaker at COP25 Chile Madrid 2019, where I shared my insights on the potential of Supercritical Geothermal Energy for climate change mitigation and adaptation. I am always eager to learn new technologies, collaborate with diverse partners, and drive results in applied research and industry settings.
