I manage the Property Loss Prevention (PLP) program implemented in PIRELLI with the purpose of individuating the property risks in the production plants, recommending and implementing corrective actions to mitigate them. Main activities:• PLP visits in the all facilities with a minimum yearly basis recurrence, often with our insurers. The visit reports are shared with the plant visited and all the Insurers. The visits mainly focus on Fire and B&M risks• New KPI (Key Performance Indicator) criteria and methodology introduced in Pirelli. The new systems is based on the priority and benefit vs costs of the recommendations highlighted; this allows prioritizing actions to be implemented as firsts, based on the resources available• Definition of a new Risk Mapping criteria based on the concepts of Vulnerability and Loss Expectancy• Regular updating of the PIRELLI PLP Manual and the intranet website for a better sharing of the info about the risks • PLP visits to assess the exposures of the plants to natural hazards, with the help of qualified Consultants & definition of a new risk mapping criteria for EQ, windstorm and flood exposures, based on a preliminary desk evaluation already done.• Day-by-day cooperation with the PIRELLI Insurance dept.• Cooperation with Pirelli Quality dept. in a risk assessment of the new suppliers during the qualification process. A new Business Continuity risk evaluation tool has been created and is regularly implemented• Cooperation with PIRELLI Logistic dept. in a risk assess. of the new third party warehouses during the tender process.
