ACE Investment Principal leader for Dynamism. Pentabus, an ACE NPO, tours new plays about the contemporary rural world to village halls, fields, festivals and theatres, telling stories with local relevance and national impact. Over 5 decades Pentabus has produced 172 new plays, reached over 500k audience members, and won prestigious awards from a South Bank Show award to a Fringe First. They’ve hosted writers in residence since 2014 who’ve gone on to be commissioned by the Royal Court, Birmingham Rep, Royal Welsh College, the Bush, HighTide and Nottingham Playhouse. Their Young Writers’ Programme has seen c.50% of participants go on to be published and professional writers or study an arts subject at university.
