I am a Capilano University student pursuing a Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration.My professional experience includes positions as Lifeguard II and Swim Instructor at the Sunshine Coast Regional District. In this role, I ensured a safe aquatic environment through strict supervision, proactivity, quick life-saving responses, addressing customer service and public relations matters, maintaining chemical balance in the pool, and ensuring a clean pool environment. Instructed essential swimming skills to a diverse range of individuals, aged between 6 months and 12 years old, all while ensuring the utmost fun and safety for patrons.In addition to my aquatic roles, I have also gained experience as a Store Clerk, where I excelled in customer service. I developed skills in food service and barista duties, along with operating POS systems and handling cash transactions. Throughout my academic journey, I have taken courses pertaining to philosophy, business writing, human resources, marketing, management, strategy and innovation, statistics, accounting and finance, international business, and computing. Which has allowed me to expand my knowledge and develop skills related to all business fields. Of which, I have been placed on the dean’s list for five consecutive semesters while maintaining a 4.0 GPA, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to academic achievement.My areas of expertise span from concise business writing to use of MS Office Suite and digital marketing strategies. With a solid foundation in management, administration, and accounting, coupled with strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as certified as a Swim Instructor, National Lifeguard (Pool), and Standard First Aid CPR/AED Level C, I am equipped to contribute positively to any team or organization.
