About Frances Bajet

My passion is in global strategic communications. I believe in work that educates, inspires, and builds connections with others.Throughout my career, I have leveraged my skills as a storyteller and connector to drive a comprehensive external and internal communications strategy for complex organizations; lead diverse teams across global offices; and launch engaging and creative campaigns on digital and social media. In 2016, I earned a M.A. & M.Sc. in Global Media and Communications with honors at the London School of Economics and the University of Southern California.To date I have lived in London, Los Angeles, and Washington, DC, but I am a New Yorker (and Queens girl) at heart. Outside of work, I enjoy reading my endless TBR pile; trying new restaurants and recipes; and traveling. In the last decade, I have visited over 20 countries; most recently, I embarked on a five-week solo trip exploring Patagonia.

   As the Senior Director of Communications and Events at the School of Continuing Studies (SCS), I am responsible for:1) Leading the SCS’s work to communicate with internal stakeholders (current students, faculty, staff, and alumni) and external stakeholders (non-SCS Georgetown University offices/departments, the general public, and the media) on non-marketing related content;2) Crafting executive communication on behalf of the Dean of the School of Continuing Studies, including remarks, presentations, quotes for the media, and messages to the community;3) Overseeing the internal events team at SCS;4) And finally, supporting the development of projects and initiatives of strategic importance to SCS.
