Driving Human Rights and Environmental Due Diligence within the upstream value chain for biobased raw materials. I define and implement sustainable sourcing strategies, contributing to the development of robust due diligence programs. My work includes- Leading the implementation of risk management approaches for feedstocks across multiple regions- Fostering strong stakeholder relationships (suppliers, NGOs, industries, organizations) to maximize positive impact throughout the value chain- Accelerating the implementation of internal sustainable sourcing policies and driving internal governance transformation- Collaborating with partners (suppliers, third parties) on sustainable field projects to generate positive social, economic, and environmental outcomes for local producers, enhancing the long-term sustainability of ingredient sourcing- Strategic analysis of the biodiversity land occupancy footprint of the biobased raw materials- Supporting regenerative agriculture projects- Supporting the transformation of internal data management for increased efficiency- Contributing to extra-financial sustainability reporting- Developing and delivering training programs on human rights and environmental due diligence for internal teams (R&I, buyers) and over 300 suppliers.
