As a director and founder I assume overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of ÍMPETU, from providing oversight, management, and training to our staff, to the whole creative approach, while ensuring editorial standards and quality control. Editorial vision, establishing and maintaining the direction and ethics of the publication. Content planning and the development of content for each issue of the journal (selecting and assigning topics, managing deadlines). Supervising the editorial team (editors, writers and designers) and foster a collaborative, creative and productive environment.4. Editorial standards and quality control. Ensuring that the journal maintains high editorial standards and adhered to the publication’s style, guidelines, and policies. Peer-reviewed process to verify facts, ensure accuracy and consistency, and overall quality.5. Collaboration and networking to ensure the magazine’s success, constantly establishing relationship with external contributors (artists), industry experts (scientific global committee) and relevant organizations (universities). Designing and editing the journal, overseeing the journal’s branding efforts, ensuring consistency in messaging, visual identity and overall brand representation across different channels and platforms. Budgeting and resource allocation, overseeing expenses related to content production.8. Audience engagement and growth, developing strategies to engage and expand the journal’s readership.9. Performance Evaluation through metrics such as circulation numbers, readership surveys and engagement analytics, to identify areas for improvement. Website management and editorial trends. Staying informed about industry trends, and emerging technologies to facilitate the editorial process and expands the journal’s readership. Embracing learning from mistakes as a personal and organization growth, celebrating successes and progress.
