In my role as a member of the Teaching and Learning Department, I conduct developmental observations of new faculty hires. These observations provide supportive feedback on a faculty member\'s teaching and the processes that impact student learning. As part of the process, I observe a class; report my observations; consult with faculty to discuss the their reflections; and then discuss and coach how they can incorporate this feedback into their teaching practice.
