ABOUT FRAN D.
I am an enthusiastic, strategic and dynamic teacher and urban planner, who has a broad experience of working across a number of built environment and education fields. I made the shift to retrain as a geography teacher, after a successful nine year career as an urban planner driven by my desire to help encourage future generations to shape a better world. I am now also a head of year responsible for pastoral, behavioural and attendance support for 260 Year 7 students. I am passionate about creating good outcomes for young people, and providing equity of opportunities, through understanding and teaching the relationships between people, place and the wider environment.
