I manage internal and external communications across email, social media, websites, newsletters, case studies, video, and events — ensuring our work is accessible, and responsive. I lead content planning and delivery across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, email, WhatsApp), and coordinate regular updates for volunteers, staff, trustees, and external partners.I oversee our database with an eye for detail, ensuring data quality, and extracting insights for funders, evaluations, and reporting. I am also involved in a collaboration project with Sheffield City Council and two universities on ways to improve how we measure and demonstrate impact.Alongside communication and data, I support organisational operations: line managing staff, supporting others others, and helping to coordinate events like our AGM. I am also one of the safeguarding leads and I represent the organisation in external meetings. I also run the #SheffVCS Communications & Marketing Network — connecting comms professionals across the sector to share learning and resources.

As a communications and data lead within the non-profit sector, I bring an experienced, multi-skilled approach to keeping our team, partners, and communities informed, engaged, and connected. I am committed to delivery, taking an enthusiastic and tenacious approach to projects. I am confident and well organised in working with people at all levels and in different locations globally.Using the social media skills I developed in running my own business, alongside years of communication and engagement in the corporate world, I promote and support the amazing hard work done by the staff and volunteers at Darnall Well Being, a community health & wellbeing organisation in Sheffield. I am also a member of the Senior Leadership Team and a Safeguarding Lead there.In my current role, I have developed a CRM database using Airtable and am responsible for deploying this for use across the team, as well as for designing reporting for funders and our board of trustees using outputs from it.
