Flight Experience- Enhanced Navan\'s flight booking model to simplify the approval flow for bookings that were done from different providers for a return flight in a tight 4-week time frame, from design to fully released- In conjunction with Partner Ops and Commercial Strategy teams, led the design and developed a multi-discount framework that can be plugged into the flight search framework so that it could support more than 1 discount code per airline per provider, enabling Navan-discounted fares to be booked in circumstances where they weren\'t before, thus giving users more possibilities to find the cheapest flights as well as increasing Navan\'s revenue. This gave customers 6% in savings and gave Navan the potential revenue of $650 per year- Co-led and planned the extraction of the very tightly coupled flight search functionality out of Navan\'s main server into a separate micro-service. The execution is currently at the step of having the flight search code in a modular monolith way- Filled in the gaps of the flight search usage data pipeline to enhance the analytics data for commercial use.
