About Fouad O.
Hi! I\'m Fouad, a PhD student in aerospace engineering at the University of Maryland. My primary research focus is on investigating hypersonic boundary layer transition through high fidelity fluid dynamics simulations. I am driven by my childhood aspirations of becoming an aircraft designer as well as my desire to further understand flight past Mach 5. I have a highly diverse set of skills from experiences at Sandia National Labs, Nike, and Bridgestone.Beyond my academic pursuits, I am an avid long-distance runner, cyclist, and whatever other endurance sports I can try.
