ABOUT FOUAD BOTRS
I am a passionate Space Engineer (Master of Science) graduated at Politecnico di Milano. I have always been enthusiastic about technology and space. After my internship experience at DLR in Munich, my career has started in the avionic industry with TXT Group, working on different projects (FCS, GCS and FMS).As a starting point, I covered software testing activities such as test cases definition, test automation, test result analysis and discrepancy analysis. After this experience, I had the opportunity to cover other activities like requirement elicitation, SW architecture definition, and traceability management.During this period, software development activities have been addressed as well (Object Oriented Programming). While working on these projects, I have gained interest in avionics processes and I put my attention on the certification process of avionics components. This allows me to cover and to coordinate different activities to comply with avionics standards (e.g. DO-178C, ARP-4754).Within the software development team internally to TXT, I also had the responsibility of the software configuration management.Currently, I am working as system and process engineer for SkyGrid company (on behalf of TXT).
