ABOUT KAREN CHAPPELL
I am an ambitious, enthusiastic, adventurous person with a hunger for knowledge & a great sense of humour. I thrive on responsibilities & enjoy taking on personal projects. With my determination & tenacity - personal goals are fulfilled within a short period of time. I am constantly seeking ways to improve myself. I completed my Batchelor of Arts degree in Photography whilst working full time. Photography is a large part of who I am, as such technology & lighting has always held a strong interest within me. Photographers are confident & independent creatures by the nature of their work, but I love being able to learning from others as part of a team. I hold a Sports Journalist Association (SJA) press card, having been a member since 2007 - I spent many years as a Motorsports photographer. I am also a registered with The Societies of Photographers. I learnt German at school for 4 years, and I have been learning Spanish for since 2019. I learned a little Finnish as many of my favourite racing drivers (and metal bands) are from Finland.I have been attempting to learn Japanese though a martial art called Aikido. I have been learning the keijutsukai style and am currently a yellow belt. I look after the photography, videography and social media for my club. I have trained also in traditional aikido & karate.I possess a clean, full UK driving license & have access to my own car.
