Career has been predominantly spent within the banking sector which has spanned start-up, commercial banking and large corporate & capital markets lending positions, together with private equity investment experience in the UK mid-market. Enjoyed a couple of years out of banking, working within industry, as a financial analyst for ForFarmers, the European market leader for agricultural feed, as MI and Reporting Analyst reporting to the UK MD. Also enjoyed working within a successful privately owned SME, Modus Contracts, joining management team, focussing on funding liquidity and cash flow management of major UK and European projects. I re-joined Santander in 2019, working within the Large Corporates team for the South West & South Wales team, predominantly focussed on companies with turnover in excess of £100m. More recently I have joined our Growth Capital team within our structured finance division, working alongside Peter Abel in the Bristol office covering the South West and South Wales. The Santander Growth Capital team lent c.£300m to high growth SME’s in 2021, supporting 65 businesses across a range of diverse sectors. We welcomed 28 brand new clients to the portfolio, facilitating buy outs, acquisitions and development capital investments. We have a team of 18 professionals providing national coverage across seven UK offices.
