ABOUT FORREST FLINT
Forrest Flint is the Vice President of Strategy and Innovation at Delta Dental of Minnesota, where he is responsible for identifying new product opportunities and the development of strategies for business retention and growth. Delta Dental of Minnesota is one of the largest providers of dental benefits in the Upper Midwest, serving 7,500 Minnesota-based purchasing groups and 3.8 million members nationwide. Form January 2013 to 2015 Forrest Flint was the Director of Dental Plan Relations for Park Dental and The Dental Specialists, where he began his career in dental group practice and dental benefits in 1985. Today Park Dental and the Dental Specialists currently have over 140 dentists practicing in over 50 locations throughout the Minneapolis/St.Paul metro area of Minnesota. From May to 2012 Forrest Flint was the Vice President of HealthPartners Dental Plan, where he was responsible for the overall performance of the dental insurance plan area of the organization. During 2013, he continued to be the HealthPartners representative to the National Association of Dental Plans where he served as the NADP Board Chair. From November 1996 to Forrest Flint was the vice president of business development for American Dental Partners, Inc. in Wakefield Massachusetts. Forrest Flint is a past Board Member of the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc. From 1984 to 1985 he was an investment banker in the health care finance group of Dain Bosworth, Inc. in Minneapolis. From 1978 to 1983 Flint was the Director of the South Dakota Division of Health Services. Forrest received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of South Dakota. He is a land and water conversation in the Minnesota environmental community and serves on the National Parks Conservation Association regional council, the Board of the Friends of the Mississippi River, and is a past board chair of the Voyageurs National Park Association.
