Hi, I’m Forrest! I’m looking forward to connecting with you.I was born and raised in Northern New York with my two brothers in a small hamlet with the nearest village, Saranac Lake, 10 miles away. Even though it took time to develop social skills living in Northern New York, leadership seemed to find me in student governments throughout my K-12 Education. Anxious to travel to college, I ventured just outside New York City where I would begin my career in the financial world. Life continuing, we celebrated the births of two amazing daughters, both now grown and on to their own careers. A relocation to LA provided me with a new role that was a perfect match. I was mentoring and coaching employees across two markets to enhance their adoption of an effective sales process. Being in Los Angeles has also given me the opportunity to experience a new culture, lead new people, make new connections, and to gain a greater understanding of my experiences, skill sets, and leadership expertise. I began volunteering as a mentor for our youth with Junior Achievement and City Year. I have been named to the Board of Directors for The Valley Economic Alliance with my key committee assignment on the Workforce and Education Development Committee. I have facilitated countless workshops around many aspects of Financial Education and Financial Well Being along with career counseling for students and I am proud to have enabled promotions for many of my employees. I have used my knowledge and experience to give back to the community where I can help individuals and companies alike.My colleagues would say that I\'m a top-performing leader offering career-long mentorship. My favorite professional memories have been when I\'ve promoted others. My teams and I have had repeated success in exceeding strategic market objectives. I enjoy recruitment and staff development because of my extensive experience across all aspects of the banking industry from retail banking, loans, and customer service to compliance, marketing, new business development, and strategic product positioning. I am a dynamic, motivated manager with proven ability to unite cultures, ignite goal-driven teams, and encourage cohesive corporate vision through highly effective coaching, mentoring, and consensus building.
