ABOUT FOROOZAN DANESH
As a lecturer and research assistant at Simon Fraser University, I apply my multidisciplinary background and expertise in user experience research and information visualization design to create novel representations and interaction techniques that engage people with data in physical and digital spaces. I have more than 10 years of experience in practicing design thinking and user-centered design approaches a well-established knowledge in conducting a wide range of qualitative research studies, and a clear understanding of quantitative methodologies. I am pursuing a PhD in data visualization at the Interactive Experiences Lab at the School of Interactive Arts and Technology, where I explore the intersection of design, human-computer interaction, and information visualization. My research interests include physical and digital visualization design and authoring. I am passionate about developing innovative and impactful solutions that empower users to access, understand, and communicate complex and dynamic information.
