Hello, my name is Fona (she/her) and I was born and raised in Oakland, CA. I am a Transportation Planner at HNTB and a recent Civil Engineering graduate from UC Berkeley, with minors in City Planning and Data Science. During my time at Berkeley, I was a Project Manager of the Cal Environmental Competition Team and an undergraduate research assistant at the Kirchstetter Lab. I am interested in the intersections of environmental/climate justice with civil & environmental engineering, climate resilience, and geospatial analysis.
