As a Veteran, I understand making that transition can be difficult. As part of this group, I provide training and assist transitioning military personnel on their journey to find civilian jobs. My goal is to help a fellow Veteran make the right connection which to me can make all the difference in the world.Project Transition USA is an organization dedicated to helping transitioning military veterans & their families find meaningful and rewarding civilian careers. All members of our LinkedIN group work together to utilize the powerful networking & job search technology of LinkedIN in support of this goal.In addition to managing this group, Project Transition USA was the first to conduct a LinkedIN Job Search Workshop on a U.S. military base (MacDill Air Force Base, Home of U.S. Central Command - Nov. With over 24 years of distinguished service in the US Navy, I am a seasoned professional who brings a wealth of leadership, counseling, and strategic planning skills to any organization. As a Chief Navy Counselor, I managed all administrative and human resources functions, led the design and implementation of the performance evaluation process, and delivered top-notch services as an authoritative source of information and guidance on interpretation of laws, policies, rules, and regulations. Currently, I am a proud member of the Project Transition USA LinkedIn group, where I support transitioning military veterans and their families in finding meaningful and rewarding civilian careers. As a veteran myself, I understand the challenges and opportunities that come with this journey, and I am passionate about helping others make the right connections and leverage the powerful networking and job search technology of LinkedIn.
