ABOUT FLORIAN SCHEURING
I am passionate about teaching and developing learners ability to critically think and reflect on subjects I teach as well as their own development as part of their learning journey. As a dedicated educator and Global Head of Learning and Teaching for my department, I develop and lead others to excel in their own teaching practice with a distinct focus on creating effective learning environments. I always strive to enhance my own teaching practice and to disseminate lessons learned among colleagues and my wider network to increase the positive contributions of my work within Higher Education and beyond. I am an alumnus of the International Teachers Programme, which not only furthered my ability to develop effective learning environments but also increased my appreciation regarding the impact our practice on learners while supporting their learning journey. I am also an active scholar in pedagogy in addition to the subjects I teach.
