Installation of Pesticides analyses Laboratory (coordinated the acquisition and qualification of the instruments);• Developed and validation of a method of analyses of agricultural residues in essential oils by GC/MSD (over 200 pesticides are identified and quantified). • Established SOP for pesticides laboratory according to EU Guidance document 2010;• Developed analytical methods for trace determination of phthalates and antioxidants such as BHA and BHT in essential oils • Developed analytical methods of furocoumarins in citrus oils • Created new products on market like decolorized coniferous absolutes; • Worked on identification of flavours, essential oils and fragrances on GC/MS;• Determine the process and quality control of food emulsions;• Developed the process of manufacturing of orange carbonyls, citrus oils furo-coumarin free, decolorized citrus oils;• Optimized the parameters of removing traces of solvents from essential oils;• trace analyses of chloroparaffins and chlorohydrins, detection of adulteration of lemon oils• implemented the GC/MS quantitation method of potential fragrance allergens in fragrance compounds (IFRA method) and adapted it to essential oils;• Developed technological processes of botanical active ingredients for cosmetic applications such as White Birch Extract and Citrus Flavonoids;• Developed coniferous concretes and absolutes;• Optimized parameters on fractional distillation process for separation and purification of important components of essential oils;• Studied the feasibility of molecular distillation, ion exchange, column chromatography, microwave extraction, liquid-liquid extraction as techniques for separation of essential oils components.
