   I manage an R&D team that is maximizing the efficiency of high quality down-converters in LEDs. These are some achievements in the last few years: • Innovatively redesigned techniques and equipment to achieve heightened precision and rigor in assessing optical parameters. Simplified procedures enabled operators to efficiently measure multiple samples, generating robust statistical data. These advancements further enhanced understanding of material performance in final devices and applications. • Expanded my high-performing team from six to nine people while also providing valuable managerial support to my supervisor’s ten-person team. • Successfully oversaw the hiring, training, and mentoring of six new employees. • Implemented rigorous statistical training for the team, enabling them to accurately analyze sample parameters with corresponding confidence intervals, resulting in improved data integrity. Additionally, delivered informative presentations to other groups within the company, advocating for the correct use of statistics in research. • Coordinated relocation of lab facilities to a shared production location, driving collaborative efforts and transforming the lab team into a vital asset for new product introduction and sample quality analysis — an unprecedented shift from limited collaboration in the previous location. • Successfully led a resilient team through unprecedented challenges during the pandemic, ensuring uninterrupted project completion while prioritizing the safety and well-being of team members, resulting in remarkably low contagion rates.
